Adopting a dog means welcoming

a soul into your life.

It’s not a decision to take lightly, or a dream to follow with your eyes closed. The path you’re about to walk together is a path of connection, listening, and shared responsibility.

I’m here to support you from the very first steps — before you even meet your future dog — to help you ask the right questions and make room for the right match. The one that actually makes sense.

What we explore together

Which dog is right for you?

Breed, mixed breed, age, size, temperament. We look at your lifestyle, your family, your hopes and your limits — to find the profile that’s truly a fit.

Preparing for their arrival

Supplies, routine, rituals, the right first moves. The basics of house training, alone time, canine communication… so their first days lay the right foundation.

Reading the right signals

At the breeder’s or at the shelter, I teach you how to observe the dogs’ behavior, ask the right questions, and spot what really matters for an informed choice.

Building the bond from day one

Once your companion is by your side, I stay available to guide you through that delicate adjustment period — so the relationship starts on solid ground.

SHELTER DOGS: A SPECIAL KIND OF ATTENTION

Adopting from a shelter sometimes means welcoming an invisible history

You don’t always know the past of a shelter dog. They arrive with their baggage, their experiences, their wounds — visible or silent. Even with all the love in the world, it’s easy to miss subtle signals without realizing it, or to react in a way that, instead of reassuring, stirs up buried stress.

That’s why support from the very first days is especially valuable — to help you learn to read your dog, listen differently, and build a strong bond from the start, with respect for their pace.

This is something I care deeply about. Too many dogs are rehomed for lack of understanding, for lack of support at the right moment. With just a few tools, a few insights, everything could have been different. 🐾🖤

FAQ

When should I start the adoption support process?

As soon as the idea of adopting starts to take shape. Support can begin before any visit to a shelter or breeder — to lay the right groundwork and make a thoughtful choice.

Will you help me choose the right dog for me?

Yes. Together, we look at your family situation, your lifestyle, your hopes, your limits — to find the kind of dog that’s right for you. The goal isn’t to find “the best dog” — it’s to find the one who will thrive by your side.

Can you come with me to the shelter or breeder?

Yes, that’s an option. I can help you observe the dogs’ behavior, ask the right questions, and spot the signals that matter for a thoughtful, respectful choice.

Do you continue to help once the dog is adopted?

Absolutely. I’ll guide you through a gentle welcome, help set the first boundaries, and help you avoid common mistakes. I can also stay with you through adolescence or beyond, depending on your needs.

What if I adopt an adult dog or one with a difficult past?

That’s exactly when support is most valuable. It helps you adapt the welcome to their history, avoid missteps, and build a reassuring bond from the start — with patience and respect.

Peut-on combiner les formules ?

Oui. La formule “Sur place” peut être combinée avec l’accompagnement complet pour un suivi de A à Z, du premier appel jusqu’à l’arrivée du chien chez vous.
