About Doggolistic
My Approach
The bond between a human and their dog goes far beyond the typical pet-owner relationship. Here we are, spinning together on this little planet at over 1,000 miles an hour, flying through the stars and through time itself—and by our sides, dogs: soul companions for the ride.
When a dog enters our life, it’s never just a coincidence. It’s not simply the result of a decision, a moment of impulse, or an accident. That first meeting holds something invisible, something intimate—a quiet resonance that connects us beyond that first exchanged glance.
Some dogs arrive as if they were destined, while others arrive in the most unexpected ways. Often, it feels like they chose us. However the story begins, every dog we welcome into our life has a purpose—a role to play exactly when we need it most.
If you’ve ever had the privilege of sharing your life with one of your soul dogs—those who give you their entire heart—then you know. You know that through every turn, every climb, every fall, every tear, and every laugh, your dog was there. Always there. Willing to follow, to leap, to stumble—just to be by your side.
And when it’s time for them to leave this world, if you’ve truly walked that path with them, they leave you better than they found you.
In the mirror of their gaze, if you dare to look closely, you’ll always see two truths: the person you are and the person you could become—if only you take the time to listen, to try, to change. To recognize the profound gift it is to live alongside one of the best teachers we can have: one who teaches us how to become the best version of ourselves.
My Journey
I’ve adopted several dogs from shelters, some of whom carried deep trauma. I also became a foster for a rescue, which gave me the chance to care for pit bulls and Staffordshire terriers with difficult pasts. Each dog I tried to help ended up teaching me more about life and about myself than I ever taught them. Through their stories, their unconditional love, and the gratitude they radiated, they lit the path before me. At every crossroads, there was a dog. At every unexpected turn, a quiet friend whose presence made everything make sense.
With each of them, I made mistakes. Often, I didn’t understand. Sometimes, I acted with good intentions and poor results. It took being swept into a storm of personal challenges for clarity to finally emerge.
The dogs who came before tried to open my eyes, but I wasn’t ready. My heart and mind weren’t open enough to understand—until Lola. With her, it wasn’t about opening my eyes. It was about closing them long enough to finally hear the answers that had always been within me.
Since then, I’ve learned to see people’s stories—human and animal alike—through a new lens. One that picks up on synchronicities, invisible threads, signs, and quiet miracles.
My mission
I want to support you in building a strong relationship with your dog, one that is fluid, calm, and alive, where clear foundations are in place long before misunderstandings take root, long before frustration, loneliness, or helplessness begin to fracture the bond.
I see too many misunderstood dogs, overwhelmed humans, and stories that unravel to the point of despair—or worse. My aim is to step in before that happens, to bring meaning to the relationship, to offer it breath, clarity, and to help protect a precious connection from quietly falling apart.
And if things have already become strained between you and your companion, no matter the challenge, I want to help you see it differently: not as a failure, but as an opportunity. An opportunity to learn what your dog is trying to tell you, so that you can guide and help them with greater understanding.
And at the end of the path we’ll walk together, when you look back at how far you’ve come, I suspect you might find yourself wondering, as I did: who truly helped whom, in the end? 🐾🖤
Who Am I?
I hold the ACACED certification and trained at the Vox Animae school. Originally from Canada, I’m based in France and work as a certified canine trainer and behaviorist. I’m bilingual in French and English—so if you or your dog are English-speaking, we’ll get along just fine.
From the age of four to sixteen, I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian—until I hit an obstacle that felt insurmountable: math. My allergy to it was intense and incurable, and so I let go of that dream along with the path of science.
Life then led me toward the arts and writing. As a graphic designer, illustrator, and lyricist, I found fulfillment in a creative world—while always keeping animals in general, and dogs in particular, close to my heart and in my life.
When Lola passed away suddenly, I couldn’t bring myself to adopt again right away. So instead, I opened my home to dogs who hadn’t had it easy—Staffs, pit bulls, dogs with baggage and scars, but endless potential. For nearly two years, I fostered these resilient souls. I taught myself how to help them heal, and watching them rediscover trust, joy, and balance—and eventually move on to new families—moved me deeply every single time.
That experience was a turning point. I’d found (or rediscovered) my calling: working with and for animals. That’s when I made the decision to retrain and turn my passion into a profession.
My Website
Some people might wonder why I spend so much time on this site — on the illustrations and the words I take care to create. (In fact, a few people close to me already do, which is exactly why this paragraph exists.) The reason is simple: I couldn’t do otherwise.
I’ve been a creative for over twenty years — through words, images, and music — and even long before that, storytelling was already there, like a native language. Changing careers hasn’t replaced my need to create, imagine, and share stories. It’s always been part of me.
Creating is how I breathe, how I share what I observe and feel, how I plant seeds of reflection, kindness, and love — here, that love is for animals. Some of those seeds may bloom in people I’ll never meet, and that’s enough.
Whatever path I’ve taken in life, creation has always found its way. It’s what helps me stay grounded, and it’s thanks to that balance that I can be fully present for the human-dog duos I work with. So yes, I take that time, because it’s an essential part of what I have to give. 🖤🐾

How to Bond with Your Dog: 12 Easy Exercises
We often think training a dog is just a matter of method: a solid routine, a few well-timed treats, a firm but kind tone, and boom, problem solved. In reality, things are a little more subtle than that. Before you even get to ask “come back here!,” “heel,” “leave it”, or “stay,” and to hope it works, there’s something deeper at play. Something essential, almost invisible, that no amount of positive reinforcement can create in three sessions. That something is the bond.
