Enriched Dog Walks: Nourishing Your Dog’s Body, Mind, and Heart

Two types of walks, each designed to meet a different need:

    • 100% dog-focused walks, solo or in small groups (up to four dogs), designed to provide real physical and mental stimulation, reinforce basic training, and support joyful socialization — all at each dog’s own pace.
    • Human-dog duo walks are guided sessions to help you better read your dog and other dogs, understand their signals, anticipate good — or not-so-good — encounters, handle interactions calmly and confidently, and build a more peaceful relationship, step by step.

I. Dog-only walks: to nourish your dog’s body, mind, and heart

Enriching walks are essential to your dog’s well-being. Even when your schedule or personal circumstances make it hard to meet all of their daily needs, your dog still deserves to thrive, not just get by.

Like us, dogs require movement, social interaction, and mental stimulation to maintain balance and happiness. That’s why I offer enrichment walks—thoughtfully designed outings that support your dog’s emotional, physical, and social health.

Each walk is an adventure—a way for your dog to read the world through their senses, especially their nose. Scent is their diary, their way of understanding others, decoding their surroundings, and feeling grounded in the present.

As a trainer and behavior specialist, nothing about these walks is left to chance. Whether your dog joins me solo or in a small group (never more than four), every outing is crafted to support their emotional and social growth. They learn to read canine body language, respect boundaries, play fairly, and find calm in connection.

I adapt to your dog’s energy, pace, and personality. Some need to run; others prefer to take their time. I ensure that every interaction is safe, respectful, and positive so your dog can build confidence without fear or overwhelm.

These walks go far beyond exercise—they’re meaningful experiences that ground, guide, and gently shape your dog’s world. Little adventures that build big things.

Safety and Peace of Mind, Always

Whether your dog joins me for a solo walk or as part of a small group (no more than four dogs), their well-being is my top priority.

I personally pick up your dog from your home and return them after the walk so you can enjoy complete peace of mind. Each group is carefully curated based on compatibility and energy levels to ensure a safe and harmonious experience for everyone.

All walks—and the keys you entrust to me—are covered by my professional liability insurance with Hiscox.

⚠️ To keep everyone safe, a current health certificate and an up-to-date vaccination record (including kennel cough) are required to participate in group walks.

⚠️ For the well-being of the group, dogs showing signs of reactivity or behavioral challenges cannot join group outings. But that doesn’t mean they’re left out. If this sounds like your dog, I’d be happy to start with a behavior assessment and create a personalized plan to help them progress—so they may eventually be ready for group adventures. In the meantime, solo walks are always an option, as reactive dogs deserve to have their needs met too.

⚠️ Due to legal restrictions and organizational reasons, dogs classified as Category 1 or 2 (under French law) are not eligible for group walks. These dogs must be leashed and muzzled at all times, which would limit my ability to monitor the group safely and effectively. That said, they’re still more than welcome on individual walks, where they receive my full attention and care. 🐾🖤

II. Human-dog duo walks: for peaceful, confident outings

During these guided walks, I accompany you and your dog in real-time learning moments, outdoors, in motion, and in connection.

You’ll learn to better read your dog’s body language, as well as that of the dogs you meet along the way, so you can understand what they’re expressing, how they’re feeling, and how best to respond in each situation.

Step by step, you’ll learn to assess whether a canine interaction is beneficial or not, to anticipate delicate situations, and to decide whether to encourage or avoid them.

You’ll discover how to handle these moments with calm and clarity, without adding stress—neither for your dog, nor for yourself.

When tension arises between dogs, I’ll guide you in how to ease it without rushing, by helping you understand what’s happening and when human intervention is truly needed. Most of the time, dogs are capable of regulating their own interactions and stepping in at the wrong moment can disrupt an exchange that would have resolved itself peacefully.

You’ll also learn to recognize when it’s the right time to call your dog back, and when it’s better to give them space, observe, and let them simply be. Knowing when to act and when to step back helps preserve the meaning of recall and keeps your dog’s attention and willingness fresh.

The goal: to give you the tools to walk together with greater ease, clarity, and mutual trust, both in your bond and in your encounters.

FAQ

What happens if it rains or it’s too hot?

Walks go ahead in all weather, except in extreme heat. In summer, I adjust the schedule or shorten the walk to ensure your dog’s comfort and safety.

How many dogs do you walk at once?

I walk a maximum of 4 dogs at a time. That way, I can give each dog proper attention and keep the group safe and calm.

Is the walk really 1.5 hours long?

That’s the average, yes. Some days it’s a little longer, others a bit shorter — I adapt to the dogs’ energy, the weather, and the moment. The goal is always a meaningful, enriching experience.

Can my dog join if their recall isn’t perfect?

Yes, as long as it’s not dangerous. I use a long leash when needed and gently work on improving their freedom over time.

Do I need to be present during the walk?

No. These walks are designed to make your life easier while giving your dog a real outing. I always send videos and photos so you’re a part of it!

How to Bond with Your Dog: 12 Easy Exercises

How to Bond with Your Dog: 12 Easy Exercises

We often think training a dog is just a matter of method: a solid routine, a few well-timed treats, a firm but kind tone, and boom, problem solved. In reality, things are a little more subtle than that. Before you even get to ask “come back here!,” “heel,” “leave it”, or “stay,” and to hope it works, there’s something deeper at play. Something essential, almost invisible, that no amount of positive reinforcement can create in three sessions. That something is the bond.

There Are No Coincidences: When a Dog Changes Our Lives

There Are No Coincidences: When a Dog Changes Our Lives

Some beings have a way of turning our lives upside down. Dogs are among them. They arrive, sometimes without warning—at a time of doubt, of routine, or of quiet uncertainty. They step into our world, disrupt our certainties, upend our habits, and eventually leave behind a void as deep as the imprint they made. We like to think we chose them. But what if it was the other way around? What if there’s no such thing as coincidence?
